Overview
Unify testing and development by providing a streamlined way to log bug reports. Testers can easily create issues in FogBugz directly from a failed test in TestLodge and provide everything the development team needs to fix the defect.
How it works
Integrate FogBugz with TestLodge by authenticating and selecting which projects you want to sync. When a tester marks a test as "failed" in TestLodge, an issue is automatically created in FogBugz. The issue even includes the steps to replicate and the expected and actual results.
If an issue already exists for a bug in FogBugz, testers can sync the test case to that issue instead of creating a new one. When testing is done, and bugs are fixed, testers can re-run failed tests to verify all reported bugs have been resolved.
Key features
- Create a new issue when a test fails.
- Assign a user and set the priority of an issue.
- Associate a test with an existing issue.
- Add a comment to an issue when the test is re-verified.
- Update the status of any existing related issue.
- Re-assign and close issues when re-testing.
- Request the issue status so you can re-run tests for all resolved bugs.
Setup instructions
- Head over to the side menu in TestLodge and select "issue trackers."
- Configure a new integration and select FogBugz to give TestLodge access.
- Navigate to a project dashboard in TestLodge and edit the project.
- Select the FogBugz project where you want to create new issues.
Now, any failed tests will generate a new issue in FogBugz.
