Overview

Foster collaboration between testers and developers by allowing Jira issues to be created directly from a failed test case in TestLodge. This allows both teams to track the testing process from either tool.

How it works

TestLodge connects with Jira to automatically create and update Jira issues when a test fails in TestLodge. Our Jira test management integration offers the following capabilities:

  • Create issues automatically - TestLodge creates a Jira issue when a test fails and automatically populates it with the test case information so developers can reproduce and fix the bug.
  • Set Jira options - You can configure the issue's priority, label, component, and assigned user directly within TestLodge.
  • Associate an existing issue - If a Jira issue already exists, you can link the test to it.
  • Pull back the issue status - Our two-way integration allows you to retrieve the issue's status so you can re-test any resolved bugs.
  • Add comments to issues - TestLodge adds a comment to an issue whenever it is re-tested, keeping everyone in the loop.
  • Mark issues as resolved - When re-running and verifying tests, you can update the status of the Jira issue directly from TestLodge, reducing the need to jump between tools.
