Overview
Connecting Linear with TestLodge improves collaboration between testers and developers. It allows testers to seamlessly create bug reports from TestLodge and gives developers visibility into the testing process in Linear.
How it works
TestLodge and Linear help you save time and effort by bridging the gap between the testing and development process. Our Linear test management integration provides the following functionality:
- Create Linear issues automatically - TestLodge creates an issue in Linear when a test fails, populating the issue with information a developer needs to fix the defect.
- Configure Linear issue settings - Assign a user, add a label, and set priority and status fields for a Linear issue directly in TestLodge.
- Link an existing issue - If a Linear issue already exists for a defect, you can link the test case to that issue.
- Retrieve the issue status - Retrieve the latest status of a Linear issue and retest all resolved bugs using our bi-directional sync.
- Add comments to issues - TestLodge adds a comment to a Linear issue when a fix is verified or when an issue is already associated with a test, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Mark issues as resolved - Update the issue status directly from TestLodge when you re-run and verify tests.
