Overview

Bring testers and developers closer together with an easy way to log bug reports in Mantis from the test case result in TestLodge. This gives developers a full view of any failed tests in Mantis and allows testers to collaborate with them directly from TestLodge.

How it works

Connect your Mantis account with TestLodge by authenticating and selecting which Mantis project to connect. When a test is marked as "failed", TestLodge creates an issue in Mantis. The test case details are synced to the Mantis issue, so developers have all the information needed to resolve the bug.

You can also associate a test case with an existing Mantis issue, assign a user, and set the category and severity of the issue directly from within TestLodge. Once testing is complete, testers can re-run failed tests to ensure all reported bugs have been resolved satisfactorily.

Key features

  • Create an issue when a test fails.
  • Assign a user and set the category and severity.
  • Associate a failed test with an existing issue.
  • Add a comment to an issue when the test is re-verified.
  • Change the severity of existing issues.
  • Update the status of any existing issue.
  • Retrieve the issue status to re-run tests for all resolved bugs.

Setup instructions

  1. In TestLodge, go to the project list and select issue trackers from the side menu.
  2. Set up a new integration and select Mantis to authenticate.
  3. In TestLodge, navigate to a project's dashboard and edit a project.
  4. From there, you can select the Mantis project you want to create any raised issues in.

Once you've completed the above steps, you can start executing tests.
