Overview

Providing a simpler way for testers to log bug reports in Teamwork directly from the test case result in TestLodge. Bugs are visible to QA team members in Teamwork, and testers can request the latest issue status to see which tests are ready to be re-run.

How it works

TestLodge integrates seamlessly with Teamwork to automate the creation of Teamwork issues whenever a test fails. Our Teamwork test management integration offers the following capabilities:

  • Create Teamwork issues automatically - TestLodge creates a Teamwork task when a test fails, including critical test case information so developers can reproduce and resolve the bug.
  • Set Teamwork options - Set the list, column, user, and priority directly from the test case in TestLodge.
  • Associate an existing issue - Link an existing issue to a test case instead of creating a new one.
  • Pull back the issue status - Our two-way integration enables you to retrieve the issue status so you know which tests are ready to be verified.
  • Re-test failed test cases - Create a test run that contains previously failed tests ready for a re-run.
  • Mark issues as resolved - When re-running tests, there's no need to juggle between tools. Simply update the status of the issue directly from TestLodge.

Setup instructions

  1. In TestLodge, go to the project list and choose issue trackers from the side menu.
  2. Set up a new integration and grant TestLodge access to your Teamwork account.
  3. In TestLodge, navigate to the dashboard of a project and edit the project.
  4. Now, select the Teamwork project you want to connect with TestLodge.

Once you've completed these steps, you can start testing, and all failed tests will be created as a new issue in Teamwork.
