Overview
Increase testing transparency by syncing failed tests into YouTrack to give developers an up-to-date view of failed tests. Testers can then pull back the status of issues to re-run resolved bugs in a new test session.
How it works
Connect YouTrack with TestLodge and select which YouTrack project you want to sync with TestLodge. When a test fails in TestLodge, an issue with all of the relevant test case details is automatically created in YouTrack, making it easy for developers to replicate and resolve the bug.
In addition to creating new issues, you can associate a test with an existing YouTrack issue. You can also create a test re-run of all failed tests related to a resolved issue in YouTrack, for a seamless testing and development feedback loop.
Key features
- Automatically create an issue when a test is marked as failed.
- Link a failed test with an existing YouTrack issue.
- Retrieve the issue status to re-run tests for all resolved bugs.
- Add comments and update the YouTrack issue status directly from TestLodge.
Setup instructions
- Go to the project list in TestLodge and select issue trackers from the side menu.
- Add a new integration and select YouTrack to authenticate.
- Navigate to the project's dashboard in TestLodge and edit the project.
- Set the YouTrack project in which you want to create issues.
Now, any failed tests will be created as an issue in YouTrack.
